A divorce decree is the final court order ending your marriage. It contains all the details about how property is divided, how you will share time with your children, and what, if any , child support is granted.

In futuref if there are any problems with your former spouse not following the court order, then you will refer to the decree, as it states what each is required to do. If there is No, you can go back to the court to enforce the terms of the decree.
